BOYS AND GIRLS Playwrights Horizons at The Duke on 42nd Street,229 West 42nd St , 212 239-6200 A world premiereby Tom Donaghy, directed by Gerald Gutierrez. Cast: Nadia Dajani , Malcolm Gets, Carrie Preston and Robert Sella. The play is about non-traditional families trying to play by traditional rules. It tells the story of a lesbian couple (Dajani and Preston), who ask their gay friend (Sella) to move in as a male role model for their pre-school son. When he reunites with an ex-boyfriend (Gets) of whom they disapprove, conflicts arise that force each of them to face their own growing up. 5/03/02-6/09/02; opening 5/28/02. The play will feature scenic design by Douglas Stein, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by David Weiner and sound design by Aural Fixation. Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 3 & 8 PM and Sundays at 3 & 7:30 PM-- $45. Student Rush Tickets will be available for $15 (cash only, day of performance).
