CurtainUp Contributor Carolyn Balducci Carolyn Balducci is an author, playwright, screenwriter and translator of Italian comic plays, most recently Dovizi's La Calandra (1513) and the anonymous La Veniexiana (1535). Her original works for theater include Giovanni the Fearless, a commedia dell'arte musical for actors and puppets ( go here for more). Her research includes articles and presentations on Italian puppetry and folklore as well as the life of Luigi Pirandello. She taught creative writing for many years at the University of Michigan. Currently, she is teaching screenwriting at NYU's Graduate Film-TV Program. |
